Drivers Education Classes
The cost of $475* covers 30 classroom hours and 6 hours of private driving. Register online for the first class you would like to attend; at your first class you will receive a schedule of available classes you can attend for your remaining sessions. You may pay for the total cost up front or you may pay a $52 deposit* and pay the remaining balance when you attend your first class.

When coming to you Orientation class you will need to arrive at LEAST 15 minutes prior to class start time. Parents should accompany minors for this to meet the instructor, hear an explanation of how the class schedule works, how we will notify you of any cancellations that may arise, sign and get a copy of paperwork, get a copy of the schedule, and be able to ask any questions or give the instructor information pertaining to their student that they may have. Students should be sure to have regular sized paper in a binder or notebook, pencils or pens, and anything they wish to snack or drink during these class times.
NEW HARDSHIP LICENSE REQUIREMENT BY STATE
September 1st, 2023 the State of Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security is requiring all students 14 years old that may wish to obtain their Hardship License, and need to attend Driver Education Course, must first obtain a Pending Letter stating they have applied and have been approved for a Hardship License.
No teens will be allowed to attend the driving school Driver Education Course without first submitting the pending letter from the State of Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security. A copy of this letter must remain in the students file for 5 years after completing the Driver Education Course. As in the past hardship students must do their skills test (driving test) at any State of TN Driver Services Center, we are not allowed to administer these skill tests.
